Walking through Porto is like swimming in a chaotic sea of colourful buildings, impressing cathedrals, charming alleys and beautiful gardens all mixed up with its tiny dreamlike fishes, hiding and dancing all around.
As I walk along the city I find myself lost between a centenary of vibrant and narrow streets, making me aware of how amazing this lawlessness turns out to be and, simultaneously, I can't help but fall in love with the glory of this incredible and remote place, lost and found somewhere in Portugal.
As soon as I stare at the whole scenario up from the bridge I realize there's nothing as big to have no solution nor nothing as small to be useless.
I realize this city has a golden scent floating all around its surfaces: caressing Rio Douro, running between its alleys, living inside the Tripeiros' hearts and flying in its air. You can smell it, you can breathe it, you can even touch it but you can't just ignore it.
Thanks Porto, for freeing my mind when I was enchained, muito obrigada.

Breve y en castellano, dirigido a las personitas con las que me crucé en Porto;
Adoro Porto.
Alessia.
